Technopet was established in Madagascar in 2009 by Mr Amiraly Hassim as a PET preforms manufacturer.
100% of the PET preforms used in Madagascar were imported until then, and Technopet quickly grew its market share, serving today close to xx% of the local market needs.
Located in the capital of Madagascar, Antananarivo, Technopet is ideally positionned to serve the neighboring islands of the Indian Ocean (Mauritius, La Reunion, Comoros and Seychelles).
Madagascar is both part of the SADC and COMESA zones as well as the Indian Ocean Community, giving a clear competitive advantage to its exports in the member countries in terms of duty and transport cost due to its central position.
Technopet not only manufactures top quality products, it also commits to providing exceptionnal before and after sale service to its customers, as well as unlimited technical advice to its customers when required.
Its engineers have 30+ years of cumulative experience in operating and maintaining injection moulding and stretch blow moulding equipment, as well as knowledge of the main bottling lines system.
Technopet has moved in new, state-of-the-art industrial facilities in 2018 in order to better manage its operations and absorb its growth. The facility is fully independant in terms of electricity and water supply, and the 10,000sqm buildings sit on a land of more than 13,000sqm, leaving space for future developments.
The plant’s location reduces the logistical costs, and the facilities are designed to comply with the highest Hygiene, Security and Environment standards.
